Gosling is a baby tracking app for parents and caregivers. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
Account information — When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your name and email address to create your account.
Baby tracking data — Everything you log in the app: sleep, feeding, diapers, growth measurements, temperature readings, medications, milestones, tummy time, bath time, and any custom categories you create. This data belongs to you.
Baby profile photos — If you add a photo to your baby's profile, it is stored in Firebase Storage and associated with your account.
Device identifiers — We generate a device identifier to deliver push notifications to your devices. This identifier is stored in our cloud infrastructure alongside your account.
Family sharing — If you invite caregivers, we store their account information and their role (parent, caregiver, viewer) within your family group. If a caregiver leaves or is removed from your family group, any entries they logged remain part of the family's tracking history.
We use your information to sync your data across your devices, to share data with caregivers you explicitly invite, and to display your tracking history and statistics within the app.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Firebase (Google) — We use Firebase to handle account sign-in and to sync your data to the cloud. Your data is stored on Google's servers. Google's privacy policy applies to their services.
Apple — Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment information.
Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to Firebase's secure cloud infrastructure. We use Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorized access to your data.
Gosling is used by parents and caregivers to track information about their children. The app is not directed at children and is not intended to be used by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our servers, including any baby profiles, tracking history, and profile photos associated with your account.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our servers.
